2.0 16v Problems
Here's a couple for ya:
1) I removed 3 of the 4 hex bolts on the crank pulley but the last one was
fairly stripped and I just made it
worse. Should I file two flat spots and use vice-grips or is there an
easier way?
2) The engine was mated to an auto tranny and torque converter has been
removed. What's left is a plate
about 12" in diameter with 6 12-point bolts in it. I removed the
bolts, plate still there. I believe it's held in
place by a brass colored cap that's obviously connected to the crank.
Anyone? Shall I just beat/cut the crap
out of it to remove it? Thanks
