16V distributors

Hey guys! I have heard everything from Saab distributors to Euro spec. 
Bottom line is that I want more power from my dist. What is the best way? 
Keep what I have (stock US model 16V dist and knock sys.) or go with 
something different? Any input is greatly appreciated.

engine stats are as follows: 1.8 bored to 50 over, head shaved .040", P/P 
head, Total Seal rings (no oil loss and killer comp!), Euro intake cam, Dual 
40mm Weber sidedraught carbs, HD valve springs, 2 1/4 exhaust (no cat), 
balanced bottom end.

Any help is very much appreciated. TIA
