Being an FJ1200 owner also and having lived on the southrn gulf coast, it
never had any issues with the hot summer months (I did, but not the bike,
lol). Although I had to start carrying a small (6x6x1/4) steel plate to
prevent the bike sinking into hot pavemanet when on the kickstand.
