Subject: How to Identify a G-grind cam?

Just finished sropping the engine and tranny out of the wifes totaled cabby,
took the valve cover off to take a look at some things and noticed that
there is a G stampped into the cam. So naturaly not knowing WTF this might
mean, I thought I'd ask. Reason is, I've had her cabby against other 8v's
and never had a hard time pulling away really. So could this be what I
think/hope it is?
