4000 intake questions

so im at the junkyard today and theres about 3 audi 4000s (theres foxes 
too)and im looking at how much of a PITA its gonna be to get the intake manifold 
off w/ the motor in the car.  so is it worth it??? is there that much more power 
to be had??  I've already ported the stock JH intake for the bigger tb and 
plan to put the P&P head  on a 2.0 3a. is it worth it??
