anyone have experience with hood scoops?

If you are going to put a forward-facing scoop on your 'roc, move it as =
far forward as you possibly can...right to the very leading edge of the =
hood. It may not be esthetic, but it will be in a positive-pressure =
area.

I personally want to put a "euro style" small scoop for ram air on the =
drivers side. Either above where the battery goes or just back a little =
ways from there.
Any ideas of air folw in that aera of the hood? Good spot or not?
I did look at the ram air DIY on scirocco16v which looks cool but I =
like the scooped look.
