Best way to fix hail "dimples"?

A dimple results from metal that has stretched. Super-cooling the =
immediate area may pull it up, but as soon as the temperatures =
equalized, it'd go right back the way it was.
Hammer and spoon would work but you have to have access to the =
underside....and even then, metal smoothing and new paint would be =
next step.
You might try the mobile guys who do 'paintless dent removal', but they =
charge by the dent and that might be more than the car is worth....:)

wasnt there some trick with dry ice on a very hot day?
supposedly you let the hood get really hot, then take ice and quickly =
rub it around the perimiter of the dimple. supposedly the stresses make =
the dimple pop back out.
