1.8L JH 8V engine tear down.

If you are planning to reuse the pistons then you had better use a ridge =
reamer or risk damaging the lands of the rings.
Look into renting the tools you need. Some FLAPS do this.

Well I pulled my engine out of my car this weekend. I had freeze plug =
let go while I was driving the car, and I over heated. I plan on seeing =
how the eninge is and rebuilding it. Wondering where I should start? Do =
you guys use a ridge reamer before removing the pistons? Also I was =
looking a techtonics price list and need some of the tools for the =
cylinder head there pretty expensive. Is there any where to get the =
various tools cheaper? I also live in Canada.
