Silly Questions time: Cargo covers and spewing NOS?

   I might have seen this answer before, but refresh my memory if you would. 
Will a MKII rear cover fit in a MKI? Of course, I could have bought the cover 
to find out and probably sold it if it doesn't. 
   Silly Question 2: A friend at work dropped a car mag in front of me that 
was opened to a pic of some muscle car at a drag strip spraying fuel? NOS? on 
launch out the intake and asks me why it does that. I could only guess that 
it was from it dumping too much NOS. Am I right or wrong? What/why does that 
happen? 
   Silly Question 3: How many other listers get the "My car does/doesn't do 
'X'. What's wrong with my car?" questions at work?  My ususal answer has been 
"Buy a VW and you won't have that problem anymore."  : )
