Ignition Woes

I've been spending most of my time working on fuel and vacuum related 
issues since I bought my Scirocco last March. Today, I decided to check out 
the ignition. When I popped the distributor cap, it was full of oil. No 
surprise there, I guess. I got out a multi-meter and started checking plug 
wires. Two out of the four have twice the maximum impedance.

I guess I'm amazed that the car runs as well as it does, all things 
considered.
