I'm thinking of getting this head to go on my 2 liter.  Is it silly of
me to pay $275 for it?

Did you see the last post in this thread?  They haven't gotten that far,
so
I asked them to just finish assembling it so I can recoup some of my
money.
Jeff's Import Auto Werkes in Boise Idaho did the disassembly/assembly
and
minor polishing of the bowls, and contracted out the machine work (head
surfacing, valves and valve seats).  Thanks!
