Ureathane bushing kits

Now I heard, and I was discouraged by a shop from installing them, that
there was a particular disadvantage to replacing the rear bushings with
poly's. The rear end does not track correctly thru turns. Any truth to this?
I mean they could have sold them to me and made money but I've gotten to
know these guys and they were not out to make a buck
