my 2001 1.8t GTI is a blast...  I've driven my friends GLX and I would take
my 1.8t in a heartbeat over that... especially because of the tuneability.
In about a year.. APR Stage III here I come... hehe.  280hp...
but, if I were you I would consider waiting for the new 24v v6 that kevin
mentioned..
