16V cam timing Q's

OK,

Still trying to get my car to run properly. I finally found some time
tonight and pulled off the valve cover to check a couple of things. First
the head bolts (ARP kit) were all torqued properly, so I started looking at
the cam timing. I'm not positive that the cams are timed correctly, so I
took a couple of pictures. They are posted at...

Funny thing is that when I looked at the photos as I was posting them, I got
up and went back into the garage. I advanced the cams a little and got the
circles to line up just right, but then the marks on the timing belt
sprocket were past their marks.

Can anyone help me figure out if this is correct? Is it worth pulling the
cams out and re-installing them? ( that seems like a pain in the butt.)
