Re: Unusually High OIL temp

Not sure if i'm keeping 15psi in the coolant..

i'm running straight water at the momment, but i even ran straight water on
my turbo 80' and it never went about 100 when i drove it really hard

using kinda thin oil. 5w/30, i didn't have anything else the momment.

the block is questionable, dunno how many miles when i replaced the head.
there wasn't any cross hatch patterns in the cylinders.

i know the rad, fan comes on for sure, the Thermo is brand new, possible the
water pump is marginal, but the water temp gauge rarely goes above half way,
and when it does the fan kicks on and lowers it back down.

hrmm.. what else in the coolant can i check?

Thanks alot!
