OK, look. if you put a 2.0L head on a stock JH block, you would gain
nothing. If you put a JH head on a 2.0L block, you would gain ALOT.
1)Compression
2) displacement
These are 2 main ways to gain POWER.

I highly recommend you (and everyone else who is thinking about doing
mods of any kind ) go to your local book store and pick up one of the VW
books. Per Schroder has one out on VW Performance as well as Greg Ravens
book. they're chocked full of detailed info, facts figures and yes, even
lots of pictures which we all can relate the best to. This is probably
the best way to get up to speed on the performance aspect of things.
Sure, were here to help but you can do yourself a better service by doing
some research of your own. When you get to the point you don't get it or
its not making sense, where here.
