Looks like you don't have to do the dyno test. For your test, NOX are not
measured, so leaning out the mixture will probably get you to pass. It
definitely looks like you are running rich. Checking the mixture and timing
before a smog check is a must. Doing a pretest will also tell you if you've
got work to do before big brother finds out you're driving around belching
poisonous gases into the atmosphere. There should be a sniffer pipe with a
blue cap running up from the exhaust. This is where you connect the CO
meter to adjust the mixture. Also make sure your ignition components are in
good order so that all the gas is getting burned. Since the CO reading is
high, you are burning the gas, but the HC indicates that quite a bit of
unburnt gas is getting by also. A new cat might help, but your car
shouldn't be putting out so much gases to begin with. Also check your O2
sensor. If it's been 60k miles since it's been changed, a new one is in
order.
