Doesn't your CO mixture screw in your fuel distributor/air flow plate adjust
this out? If not, there is something wrong in the fuel system. Like a
leaky injector/cold start valve, bad fuel distributor, or a bad DPR. Since
the HC aren't way too high, adjusting the CO down will probably pull the HC
back into check. If your cat is bad, you will see the HC go way high and
the CO level at normal levels (unless it is out of adjustment!!!). I had a
mixture screw not work properly and replacing the Fuel Distributor did the
trick, probably the plunger sticking. I was messing around one time and
tried polishing the plunger with my dremmel. Not a good idea! HTH!!
