I have a request from a friend in the UK Scirocco Registe - if anyone
can help, please post any information you may have about this request :-

Eoin Cumming is trying to replicate a Mk1 Scirocco that was raced in the
states in 1977. He has some piccys but still needs more info. It was
raced in the Trans Am series and came first in it's class at the Nelson
Ledges Trans Am race in 1977. It is a thoroughbred racecar pushing
160bhp, a top speed of 150mph and it's race number was 43.
If anyone has any info. on this car at all, or know of anyone that might
know - please let us know.
