<x-charset iso-8859-1>If i am not mistaken, this Scirocco was based here in Winchester, Va at
"Group 44 Racing" which is now a BMW motorsport place. If i get a chance, I
will stop in there either this weekend or first of next week to see if they
can give me some info.
Group44 was also a strong contender in the 70's with Audi, using the Audi
80, 200 and a couple of shorties.. (for those who dont know what a shorty
is, its a Audi Turbo Quattro Coupe or Ur-Quattro with a modified wheelbase
that was raced in Rally and Pikes Peak, holding many records. The Audi 80,
90 and 200q were used primarily in SCCA, BTCC and Trans-Am.  All of which
Audi kept having to step up the plate, since SCCA felt the quattro system
gave them an "unfair advantage".)
