Extremely on topic!  Too bad this wasn't posted about six weeks ago.  I
made the mistake of trying to use an ez-out on a broken stud on a early
dual outlet exhaust manifold I bought from a friend.  Yep! You guessed
it... the damn thing broke in the hole!    So i attempted to drill it
out... mistake!   So far I all I accomplished wasting $10 on a set out
ez-outs, and another $10 in drill bits.   I had already done a bunch of
porting and painting on the manifold so I wasn't going to give up easily.  
 I ended up taking it to a business contact to have it literally burned
out.   My boss figured they'd "take care of me" (free or cheap),  but they
screwed me...   We got even the next new job we did for them <grin>

Greg :)  (now thinks EZ outs are EVIL... avoid them!)
