I did the same thing. When putting the liner back together I added some
glue because I tore the liner. Basically I tore the liner where the
stitches are. Be very, very careful while doing this. It's not difficult
just be careful. In order to run the cable to the front I think I ran it
along the rear panel and then along the driver side carpet. I'll check and
let you know for sure.
