Well sortof. What most racers/magazines/etc call "coil overs" are
strut/shock
centered spring setups. But with a special threaded shock tube for adjustment
of travel and balance. They can be an amazing tool to get the setup on a
racer just right. Paired with a camber plate up top, and racing/lowering
springs you can maintain or even increase! shock travel. (not all camber
plates
are created equal) Plus this also allows you to select pre-load and spring
weights of any kind. Definately a trick setup.

If you race, ring up Ground Control. If not, ask around. many street coilover
kits exist. Longer suspension travel is a must on lowered street rods :)
(tired of bottoming those sweet dampers you just got on your lowering
springs?)

just fyi
