2L 16v engine work ok with (base) CIS?

I have so far NOT blown an ABA metal headgasket on a 2.0 (9A) with a 1.8 16v
head and a 2.0 (ABA) 1.8 16v head at 10psi.  Maybe I should apply more boost
;)
