2L 16v engine work ok with (base) CIS?

yeah i have used the ABA gasket on:

2.0 ABA with 1.8 RV head
2.016V with 1.8 head
2.0 16V with 2.0 head


it seems to work for pretty much everything.
just make sure that the soolant passages line up, as i had one that must
have been pressed funky and coolant passages were half blocked
