Last time I was at a dealer I was with the bride who had her TDI in for 
something and I mentioned that I drove a Vanagon and had a Scirocco and 
the nice saleslady batted an eye as if she knew what that was even 
though they had retro ad posters up all over the place and wondered why 
I wouldn't be in the market for a new one.  That's their job.

The old one still works except it marks its spot you old bat!

But so, wait...The Eos is in dealers now?
