More tranny problems

So I finally get a chance to get back to my parents house this weekend to 
try to fix my Rocco so I don't have to drive my suburban getting single 
digit mpg. I'm putting in a FF trans to replace my 2H that had a nasty case 
of SMS. Well the FF trans has the old small seal style drive flanges and the 
2H had the new large seals. Both used 90mm flanges. Well the FF only had one 
flange on it when I got it and I was thinking I could just pull the green 
collars off the 2H and put it on the FF. Well it looks like they won't come 
off without some major damage. I can't seem to find anyplace where I can get 
new collars. So I guess I'm left with either getting a set of small seals 
and another small seal flange or someone points me to where I can get those 
green collars.  Any ideas better or otherwise?

BTW the VW parts place in Auburn Hills MI is a worthless pile of crap. I 
call them up yesterday and tell them exactly what I need and they say yeah 
sure we've got exactly what you need in a kit. I drive out there and all 
they have is the same seal kit I can get anywhere else but they've got it 
for $5 more than anyone else. I tell them again what I'm looking for and the 
guy says oh that's part of the trans. I can sell you another trans if you 
want. douchbags.. wasting my time...
