What's your tune-up routine? Plus bonus ?s

Wow, lots of responses since I went to bed last night.

The Bosch part number on the cap is 1235522056. I pulled a plug wire from it
and didn't see a pin.
I'll add checking belts and lubing hinges, etc... to my list
Brakes: what size rotors came on the 16vs originally? I've got a swap to the
4-wheel discs but there's three rotor sizes listed on Potterman's site: 10.1,
9.4, and 8.9. I thought it was 10.1 front and 8.9 rear, maybe the 9.4 is
from the 8v front? I'll flush the fluid here too if I can find the tools to
do it.
All the other part/fluid reccommendations are great, thank you. I'll be
looking at those and decide what to use from that.
As for setting the valve clearance, I'm not that ambitious at this point. I
gotta be able to get to work. Looking for a daily driver at the moment
though so once the rocco can rest maybe I'll get more courage.
I live in MD for climate purposes, but the car doesn't get driven in winter
(been taking the bus to school, but now that I'm working I need a second
car).
I have both a Bentley and the Sealey book, so I'm covered on that front.

And since it's come up so much in the thread, how can you tell if you have a
solid lifter or hydraulic head and what is the difference?

Thanks everyone!
