Ok, I think I already know what this is, but I want to bounce it off you 
guys:
Gliding to a stop (foot off the gas) or coasting with the clutch in, I'm 
hearing a rapid TICK TICK TICK TICK that's not speed related, but I have to 
be moving for it to make the sound.

Transmission fluid problem in relation to the 5th gear?

Another gear type issue?

Just started doing this last night.  I've already put $2419.95 into this 
thing in 5 weeks just to keep it on the freakin' road!  Probably twice the 
value if not more.  And I haven't even started to work on the items I 
thought could use attention.

I'm about to f@#king kill this car!  Anyone got some thermite?  Oh yeah, and 
just today it started sputtering after start up.  Had to rev it to prevent 
it from stalling.  Never had to do that before.  Even then it's starting to 
run "rough".  What the hell!?!
