Hey all,
 I'm mainly a reader here so thats probably why most of you  don't recognize my name.  I'm on vortex as "d-bot".  Since  the carbon fiber hood talk came up for the S2, I've been considering  the CF hood for the S1.  There is a shop at the end of my building  that does composite work such as resto body panels, new to old corvette  conversion body, as well as a lot of other automotive and marine type  fiberglass and cf parts.  I was already condsidering to have him  price something out so I'm just tossing this out there for anyone else  that would be possibly interested.  I know there is a company that  makes fiberglass hoods and hatches on the west coast but would anyone  be interested in these units in carbon fiber?  I really didn't  want to post this on vortex because of the common hype to reality  factor but if you would be interested please speak up.  Then when  I talk to him I can toss some figures about possible interest if anyone  here is.

like the title says its a group buy opportunity for carbon fiber hoods,  we
need like 4 more people for MK II hoods. estimated price is around 600-900
bucks, and the company isn't going to be doing this anytime soon so if you
don't have the money right now don't worry.  I'm already on the list:)
