WAS: My clutch?? I thought it was my clutch...now I'm not so sure., NOW: bonehead move of the year

Ahhhh  HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHaHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!

<sob>

It was my cable. It had collapsed at the firewall. The internal cable was
fine; the sheath collapsed.

I had oil on my clutch and needed to do a steering rack boot, rear main
seal, input shaft seal and .80 5th, but that doesn't excuse my stupidty. I
should have looked more closely at the whole thing and seen that the release
lever wasn't lifting enough. That won't happen again.

The car should be on the road today. New trans mounts, too.
