Then it had the intended effect. 

btw- The SIROCCO wind travels across the Med and while
originating in the Desert (most of the time) its not a
super bone dry wind by the time the Europeans
experience it. 

Methinks it's got some bad ju-ju vis-a-vis positive
Ions and so on. But apparently it can bring both rain
and fog along with it.
