That's really odd, my '82 lit up like a Christmas tree when I got it to run.
I solved my problem though, I put a diesel engine in it and all the issues
stopped. Lol.

I know that doesn't help much, except that mine did it too....sorry... :L

I picked up an '82 on Sunday.  103K miles on it, green with brown plaid 
interior! yessss!  The oil buzzer system is screwed up.  I've tried
replacing the 
senders, cleaning the grounds, and I've checked the actual oil pressure 
manually getting good results.  I guess '82 has an isolated oil pressure
warning 
system on them.  I've heard of a fix for the problem so I need help to find
the 
fix to make the dash buzzer and light stop going off (supposed to solder a 
connection that comes loose in the cluster or something) quickly so that I
can get 
this thing inspected and on the road before winter really hits.
