Years ago you could buy a remote oil filter that actually used toilet paper
rolls as the filtering media.  They did a pretty fair job of filtering the
oil, too.  I wish I know why they weren't more popular....and why they are
no longer advertized.
That was a reference I was sure someone here would get.  This kit was the
ticket for T1s...

   A FRAM may or may not be inferior to some other brands.  Regardless of
its status in the filter hierarchy, I've never heard of anyone's first-hand
experience with an engine that failed because of the brand of oil filter.

Then you know why I don't like FRAM filters then...  :)
