Fuel Pump Tests
well, thats kind of correct.
check the chart on this page:

flow rate depends on discharge pressure. bench testing would be ~1 galon per
minute, while the pump will only flow ~3/4 galon per minute when installed
in a cis-e setup (5 bar / 75 psi).
