Rear wing functionality

I have an explanation:
 In order to get your 16v past 85mph, you had to press down on the gas pedal
so hard that it made the whole car squat.  Aerodynamics had nothing to do
with it..... :)
  Oh...wait...I'm thinking of an 8v.......  ;)
