Blinking Light!!!!
My 92 Jetta used to do that in the morning when it was cold out. No leaking
or anything. What used to stop it was if I tapped the actual gauge cluster a
little. I always thought it was the temp sensor under the hood, but for some
reason I tapped the cluster one day and it stopped. Got to love them VW's
and their electrical gremlins :). I wasn't about to mess with the inside of
the cluster so I just tapped it all the time to stop it. Hope this helps, if
not check the water temp sensor.
