Steering column lock

So I pretty much know what to do here but want to check if I'm missing 
something. I need to remove the steering column lock off of the steering 
column. To do this I need to

1) remove the steering wheel
2) remove the switches
3) unplug the ignition switch electrical connector
4) remove the screw that clamps this assembly to the steering column.

Is that it? do I need to do anything with the bearings in the steering 
column or are they behind this part? Should it just slip off after I do the 
above?
