Like someone else mentioned, there doesn't need to be anything in writing. To take it one step further, they always say, "This conversation may be recorded". If you don't hang up, you've consented.

some states require both parties to consent to the phone conversation
being recorded. Did you sign a waiver allowing them to record any and
all conversations with them? Or are you in one of those one-party
consent states?
