Checking Spindles



Sorry, David, (there I go again).
The car should be supported near the edges of the floor pan.  There are small (about 2" dia) raised bosses just aft of the front wheel wells and forward of the rear that are designed to be the lifting points.  On the excellent 16V model, you can lift on the small flange running the length of the rocker(there's a notch in the body kit that shows location), but it takes the stock jack or a special tool that won't bend that flange.
 Mr. Bentley has some good photos with captions that do a much better job of explaining than I.
