trade-up Scirocco for Corado

Not sure what your request is.
You're going to trade the Scirocco in?  Or do you want to sell it?
I don't see anything in your post that would make it worth $4K.  
Maybe you should give us more details.....
(note: it would have to be VERY cherry to command that much in a sale and you'd get one tenth of that as a trade-in)

  To be honest I have always liked the Corado more than the Scirocco but

  that happened to it.  It's just that I'd rather own a Corado.  Also correct 
  me please if I'm wrong, owning a Corado which is newer, would be better for 
  me because it is not as likely to break down as an older car...Assuming the 
  Corado is in good shape.  I would like to make the value of the Scirocco at
