thermostat problem
The high temp sounds like a stuck thermostat, but wouldn't you have heat
with a stuck thermostat?

Subject: thermostat problem
I have a 1.8 16v and in the morning when I go to start it up I'm getting NO
heat. I can start it and drive for about 10 mins and the gauge will just
keep going up and NO heat in the car. I'm thinking the thermostat is stuck.
its 15-25 degrees outside and I'm thinking the thermostat is mess-up.
The first time it did it I was half way to work and the gauge keep going up
and then when it was about to hit hot. Heat started coming through the vents
the gauge just started falling back down to normal temperatures. so I'm
guess the thermostat opened the it came down.
What do u guys think?
