The VW Motorsport distributor also has a more aerodynamic shape to the
(80mm)cone, that the intake boot connects to.

Yeah, but remember that's the same size plate used in 16Vs.
I'm pretty sure the only difference between this and a 16V distrib. is
the extra lines for the WU regulator.
