Volks,
   Does anyone know if I can use a Scirocco AC/Heater control assembly in my
GTI ('83)?

  The system has a leak somewhere, and I am 90% positive it is somewhere in
the contol valve...  I have taken it apart and relubed it, no change...

  Do Sciroccos and Rabbits function in the same way?  I know the assemblies
themselves are different, I will deal with that, but do they function the
same?

Any ideas or suggestions are most welcome, as I am most tired of getting
cold any time I go up a hill (when the vacuum diminishes because of the
leak)...
