PS. A mech at Walmart has a 1982 VW Rabbit with a 1.8l 8v (with obligitory 
oil leak) up for sale. May be $200.00. Any thing to get this MKI off the 
road!


Sounds like a great deal, and a good solution for now, plus you'll save the
Scirocco from salt, and possible accidents.

This is why I normally drive a Rabbit GTI, especially this time of year.
