Starter Bolts - Are some really Tripplesquare?
I ran across this problem with 2 of my 75 Rabbit it had an old-skool
Diesel starter to spin its 2.0L 16v and it had special smaller head (and
12 point) bolts to clear the housing...they were in crap shape and when I
tried to use regular allen head 8v bolts from my 83 jetta they didn't
clear and ended up getting wedged against the starter housing before they
were even halfway into the front mount...that car was definitely junk yard
ghetto stylz
sandor
