(OT-ish) Musing on the state of affairs



There's also so much in the archives at this point that lurkers like myself 
rarely need to ask repetitive questions, just search and i've got more than 
I could ever hope to read on most subjects.

Yep, and I probably count as "the old" now, though I'm still learning. I
think part of the change has been in the (lack of) input from the new, or
the less experienced new folks. There had been some rather harsh posts
which may have discouraged the new from posting their problems, and for
me, reading those posts was very helpful. Of course you all know I've
never been afraid to ask something really basic, or to post about dumb
things that have happened to me. Perhaps my gender has made that easier.
The flavour has changed, but it may have been different before I got here
too. Change can be good though. So long as we're all enjoying these quirky
old cars, it's all good.
