This is why I love old VW's as opposed to my 60's Fords. Today I picked up 
for a MK1 a very nice hood, decent non wiper hatch. good glass for one whole 
side, decent grill, 2 swaybars one aftermarket Scirocco and one GTI , a box with 
a couple of brand new headgaskets, spark plug wires, cam, plus a ton of other 
gaskets and miscellaneous small parts.   All for the whopping sum of $60. The 
guy wasn't going to be home when I could show up so he told me to leave the 
money inside his screen door. Sweet. Also another lister Grant. Who I've never 
meet sent me out to his house to borrow a Bosch fuel injection book while he is 
away at school. Much appreciated. Glad to be apart of such a decent group of 
people.
