well I can tell you my impression of the lightened flywheel versus the normal one in my rocco, I have no number to crunch but more a personal observation
1. alot easier to rach 7K on the rpm in 1st gear and it gets there FAST!
2. alittle lost of MPG indeed, I used to get 32-34MPG before I get 30-32MPG
3. the downshifting I prefer, smoother, the heavier flywheel would seem to virtually PULL harder on the engine when downshifting over 3K

Hmm, odd. I remember when I brought lightened flywheels up before, everyone was telling me they were awesome and had no downside. While I'm not expecting amazing mpg out of a turbo'd 2L, as long as I do better than Josh I'm happy. Doesn't a lightened flywheel significantly affect acceleration? How bad is the mpg drop with one?
