walkin' in a winter wiper land

If you run the defrost as you are driving, (and trust me, you'll figure that
one out when your windsheild steams up,) your wipers shouldn't stick to the
glass. The other problem is ice buildup as you are using them, and for this,
as they are moving, roll down your window (generally some cussing may be
appropriate) and catch the blade at the high point of its travel, quickly
picking it up so it can smack down on the glass, this usually will shatter
the offending ice buildup. Oh, another handy tip? If you have frost buildup,
an old credit card works great for scraping it off. Even better if you can
run the defrost for a while to soften it up. Better still if you can
relocate south... Blech, this talk of winter is making me real depressed.
